Brad Binder Shines at Italian MotoGP, Sets New Top Speed Record

Brad Binder had a successful weekend at the Italian MotoGP in Mugello, finishing in 5th place. He currently holds the 4th position in the 2023 MotoGP World Championship standings.

Binder, a 27-year-old South African rider, achieved KTM’s first MotoGP victory in the Czech Republic in 2020 and was their top-ranked rider in 2022, securing 6th place in the standings and podium finishes in both the opening Grand Prix in Qatar and the season finale in Valencia.

Known for his determination, Binder has been a part of the Red Bull KTM family for nine seasons, establishing himself as a prominent racer on the MotoGP grid. Although he missed out on a podium finish this weekend, he did set a new top speed record, reaching an astonishing 366.1 km/h during the 2023 Gran Premio d’Italia Oakley MotoGP™.

With his improved performance compared to the previous season, Binder has the potential to make this his best season yet in the MotoGP World Championship standings.
