England moves to step 3 of easing lockdown on 17 May and is still on track to move to step 4 on 21st June.
The rule of 6 will now apply to indoors and outdoors. Restaurants, hotels, b&b’s, concert halls, cinemas, entertainment venues and the like will re-open on 17th May and from next week everyone will be allowed to travel freely in England.
Care home visiting will be eased with up to five visitors allowed, up to 30 people will be allowed at weddings. Pupils in schools and colleges will no longer have to wear face masks and university students can return to 1 on 1 teaching.
Currently, there are only 12 countries around the world on the green travel list. These will be reviewed every 3 weeks.
