Family escape economic turmoil to build successful housekeeping business in the UK

Bright & Beautiful Taunton, owned by Alison Harding, is part of an award-winning concept in domestic homecare, providing eco-friendly cleaning, tidying, laundry, and ironing; with carefully selected fully employed cleaners working to the highest standards of security and service.

Alison moved to the UK in 2004 from Cape Town in South Africa, looking to escape the economic rollercoaster and crime. Although it was a difficult decision, Alison and her husband had their own Insurance Brokerage in South Africa so had bags of experience in running a business.

Starting off as a pub manager, Alison managed to experience different areas across the UK whilst hopping from pub to pub. The financial crash in 2008 put a halt to this however and Alison had no choice but to become ‘employed’.

After just over ten years of work, the formidable COVID-19 hit in 2020. Both Alison and her husband were furloughed and then made redundant.

It was at this point that they decided to franchise with Bright & Beautiful.

Alison & her team provide premium housekeeping services in Taunton & the surrounding areas to make sure that your home is looked after to your exact requirements.

Bright & Beautiful Nottingham’s highly trained teamwork in the best environment possible where the employees have scope for development and flexible working hours. The client’s security is of the utmost importance to our staff, house keys are kept in a key safe and are numbered so that there is no link to the house.

Since becoming the Director of Bright & Beautiful Taunton, Alison and her husband have enjoyed the work-life balance, being their own boss again and growing their own business.

Insiders say F1 is confirmed at Kyalami for 2023 but is it?

0

A look at the F1 Paddock Insider thread on Twitter a few days ago reported a possibility of Formula 1 returning to Kyalami in 2023.

However, nothing official has been reported on this and F1 Paddock Insider tweeted the wait may be longer.

Seems like we will have to wait a little longer until the South African governing bodies make a decision.

We know Hamilton is rooting for it and Red Bull’s Verstappen thinks it’s a great idea too saying “I’d like to race in Africa. So Kyalami would be a cool addition.”
