Who will be crowned Miss/Mrs Africa UK?

This is not your normal type of beauty pageant! Looks don’t count as much here. The Miss/Mrs Africa UK dispels the age-long notion that beauty pageants are reserved for less intelligent women with only physical attributes to show.

The pageant is for African women, aged 30+ based in the UK who would ordinarily not have such a platform to compete and be ambassadors on a global scale.

A woman’s beauty is more than a physical appearance, it comes in all shapes and sizes. Gone are the stereotypes that do not match the individual, bearing the burden of a crown of ideals being placed upon their head diminishing the power of their womanhood to the stigma of unattainable beauty.

Through the journey of Miss/Mrs Africa UK, women find themselves again and learn that they are never too old to follow their dreams and become voices of change. It is a journey of beautiful, relatable, strong, sophisticated women from all over the UK.

The Miss/Mrs Africa UK began in 2020 and was the brainchild of Yanela Ntlauzana originally from Tsolo in the Eastern Cape, South Africa who now lives in the UK.

A number of semi-finalists have been selected, including 2 South Africans who have a chance at being crowned Miss/Mrs Africa UK at the grand finale on 31st of July in Manchester.

Grace the red carpet, enjoy a drinks reception a 3 course dinner and jaw dropping entertainment! Kimpton Clocktower
